Maconomy A/S signs preliminary deal with Marstrand Innovation

Maconomy A/S today signed a preliminary deal with Marstrand Innovation A/S regarding the acquisition and purchase of IP rights (Intellectual Property) to Maconomy People Planner – an advanced resource and planning tool for efficient resource management and project follow-up.

Maconomy People Planner has been developed in close collaboration between Maconomy and Marstrand Innovation. The solution was released to market in October 2007 as an integrated part of Maconomy X+, but it can also be used on a standalone basis or be integrated with other systems (point solution).

Maconomy People Planner increases profitability by way of better resource utilisation and the improved resource overview enables greater order capacity with fewer budget overruns – significant performance parameters for Maconomy’s customers. Read more about Maconomy People Planner here.

The 2008 expectations for Maconomy’s People Planner licence sales amount to approx. DKK 10 million (four times greater than the revenue in 2007). These expectations will not be changed in case of a final agreement with Marstrand, but the expense structure will be changed from payment of royalty fees to financing expenses.
